Throat Chakra
The Throat Chakra is the fifth of the seven main chakras. In Sanskrit, it is called Vishuddha, which means pure. It is associated with Communication, Expression, Integrity, and Honor.
An unbalanced Throat Chakra can manifest in many different ways. Here are some signs of an unbalanced or blocked Throat Chakra:
Emotional Signs:
Negative self-talk, inability to express feelings, hesitation to speak up
Physical Signs:
Sore throat, ear infection, thyroid problems, gum disease
Relative to Relationships (romantic, familial, friendship, etc.)
Overbearing &/or silent expression
Now, you may wonder how to balance or clear your Throat Chakra. Don’t worry… I’ve got you!
Activities to Balance/Clear your Throat Chakra:
Singing, Speaking, Chanting, Breathwork
Foods to Balance/Clear your Throat Chakra:
Blueberries, blackberries, kelp, dragon fruit, wheatgrass. Water and warm herbal teas.
You can also work with the following crystals by placing one or two on your Throat Chakra while you meditate, keeping them in your pocket/bra, or even under your pillow when you sleep,
